OffTheDock Terms and Conditions

OffTheDock is operated by Tillo Advisors LLC, a Texas limited liability company (collectively, “OffTheDock,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Purpose of OffTheDock

OffTheDock is a communication, coordination, and recordkeeping service for boat owners, charter companies, and their authorized users. Features may include Boat Log communication, maintenance records and estimates, schedules, reservations, equipment, knowledge articles, files, trips, locations, and shared trip information.

OffTheDock is not a navigation system, emergency service, vessel-monitoring service, or substitute for professional marine, mechanical, legal, financial, insurance, medical, weather, or safety advice.

Eligibility and Authorized Use

You may use OffTheDock only if you have been invited or otherwise authorized by a boat owner, charter company, or OffTheDock administrator and can legally agree to these terms.

You may access and manage only the companies, boats, users, and records for which you have authorization. You may not attempt to bypass access controls, misuse shared links, interfere with the service, introduce malicious content, or use OffTheDock for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.

Accounts and Security

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your device and sign-in methods, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Access may depend on an ongoing relationship with a boat owner or charter company. We may suspend or terminate access when authorization ends, an account creates security risk, or these terms are violated.

User Content and Permissions

You may submit messages, private notes, maintenance and cost information, reservations, trip plans, locations, emergency-contact details, photos, videos, audio recordings, documents, links, and other content. You retain ownership of content you submit.

You grant Tillo Advisors LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve OffTheDock and its user-facing features.

You represent that you have the right and authority to submit the content and to share any personal information, images, recordings, locations, or emergency-contact information it contains. You must not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, offensive, or unauthorized content.

Boat, Maintenance, Cost, and Schedule Information

Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying boat information, maintenance history, estimates, costs, dates, reservations, schedules, and approvals before relying on them. OffTheDock does not guarantee that user-entered information is complete, accurate, current, authorized, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Maintenance approvals, estimates, records, and status labels are communication and recordkeeping tools. They do not constitute a warranty, professional inspection, repair certification, payment obligation, or guarantee of work unless the applicable parties separately agree otherwise.

Trips, Maps, Location, and Shared Links

Trip plans, float plans, checkpoints, map information, routes, coordinates, and shared locations are informational. Conditions can change and data can be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable. Always use current official charts, notices, weather information, properly maintained navigation equipment, and qualified judgment.

Do not rely on OffTheDock for collision avoidance, navigation, emergency response, overdue-vessel monitoring, or the safety of a person or vessel. Contact the appropriate emergency authority directly in an emergency.

Users control the content designated for external sharing and are responsible for reviewing shared pages and protecting shared links. Do not publicly share sensitive personal, location, people-aboard, or emergency-contact information unless necessary and authorized.

AI-Assisted Features

OffTheDock may provide AI-assisted search, summaries, or answers based on authorized records. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. It must be independently verified and must not be relied upon for navigation, emergencies, vessel safety, maintenance decisions, or other safety-critical or professional purposes.

Communications and Notifications

OffTheDock may send authentication emails, invitations, alerts, activity updates, summaries, and other service communications. Delivery may be delayed or fail, and users must not rely solely on OffTheDock notifications for urgent, safety-critical, or time-sensitive matters.

Third-Party Services

OffTheDock relies on third-party authentication, hosting, storage, email, map, diagnostics, and AI services. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Privacy and Account Deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is incorporated into these terms. You may request account deletion by using an available in-app deletion control or contacting support@tillooadvisors.com.

Deletion of an individual account may not require deletion of boat or company records that another authorized owner or company is entitled or legally required to retain. We will handle personal information associated with a deletion request as described in the Privacy Policy.

Service Changes and Availability

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features and may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access. We do not guarantee that OffTheDock will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, browser, or third-party service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OffTheDock is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tillo Advisors LLC and its owners, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, loss of use, vessel damage, personal injury, or losses arising from reliance on user content, AI output, trip or location information, notifications, or third-party services.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. We will post revised terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
